the lights are blurring and my speech is slurring,
my heart’s been hurt and death keeps on lurking.
from behind enemy lines
i need to start trying to stop lying,
to myself and my family.
but they’ve really got to hand it to me,
fi‘ve been keeping a straight face
but my disgrace of being a disgrace
at this rate, my mistakes
have got my insides twisted the shape that my fists make
